I began studying with Sensei Taka Kinjo in 1992 after my son Adam started to take lessons. I had known Sensei Kinjo and he suggested I take lessons with Adam. As I watched Adam practice, I decided, for health reasons, that Karate would be a great benefit for me and I hope to be able to continue taking Gohakukai Karate for many years to come.
