Taka Karate School

40th Anniversary Demonstration

On May 19, the Taka Karate School will be holding its 40th Anniversary Demonstration at the Yates Memorial Centre in Lethbridge. The Taka Karate School will be hosting forty guests from Japan. including Kaicho Iken Tokashiki, the founder of Gohakukai Karate. Students from all over Western Canada and the United States will also be participating.

Tickets are $15 and are available at the door. The demonstration begins at 2:00 pm.

    I used to practise in Lethbridge dojo until 1993. I went back to Hong Kong since then. Technically I lost everyone’s contacts from dojo as you all well know that internet’s not as popular as these days. I just wonder is that possible to post a list of contacts or emails of all students from dojo? That would be fantastic to get in touch with the one that we had practised with again after all these years.

    Had an excellent time during the 2011 May Karate Long Weekend. Learned lots at the seminar and had a lot of fun at the BBQ and demonstration. It was good to see everyone too!
